Rapid Pulse

Where a filter is needed to provide high quality, high flow rate with maximum economy and limited operating space, the Rapid Pulse is the ideal solution. This upright tubular filter has its own highly effective cleaning system, which ensures high filter utilisation and low operating costs.

Its suspended filter elements allow filtered liquid to travel on the inside of each element to a storage area at the top of the vessel. This volume of stored filter liquid is used to backwash the filter. The complete top cover can be removed, allowing the whole filter to be easily maintained and components, such as the filter elements, simple to replace.

The filter has been purposely designed for low cost installation. The need for support equipment such as additional pumps, tanks and valves has been minimised.

Micro Pulse

The dual benefit of the G.V. MICRO-PULSE filter is that it allows both clarification and solids concentration to be accomplished by the same equipment. This enables the integration of procedures that previously required clarifiers, thickeners, cartridges, tubular and leaf type filters into one highly effective system.

The G.V. MICRO-PULSE filter is designed to accomplish submicron filtration without the use of precoats or filter aids. This facilitates the recovery of small amounts of product from waste streams and its return to the process stream without contamination. When compared to other designs, the G.V. MICRO-PULSE filter is also less expensive and easier to operate because there are no precoats, polymers or other chemicals to store, mix or feed. Its submicron filtration capability and tolerance to flow variations make this filter unparalleled in its suitability for a wide variety of process or waste stream applications.

Features and Benefits

Semi-continuous operation –removes filter cake in a matter of seconds

Cost effective – demands less power for low pressure, low cost filtration

Efficient – ideal for submicron particle removal
